Route 60 Music Co. opened its doors for business on the first business day of the new millennium, Jan 2, 2001. Owners Mike McCord and Paul Callicoat together had over 50 years in the business, mostly at a chain of music stores in the West Virginia region. Their vision for the store was a destination guitar shop that offered both beginning and professional musicians top quality instruments at competitive prices coupled with a high level of customer service. The owners and employees are long time musicians themselves and feel qualified to offer advice, instruction and personal service to their customers and will gladly try to help any musician realize their goals in creating or playing music.
